Microsurgical precision, developed, manufactured and hand-inspected at a single site in Germany. To ISO 13485:2016.
Watch the filmOver 40 manufacturing steps per instrument, checked under the microscope until play, closure and tip sit exactly right.
Development, manufacturing and final inspection at a single site in Aach. Documented to ISO 13485:2016.
From standard instruments to OEM and contract manufacturing to your drawing, including repair, coating and marking.
In microsurgery, every hundredth of a millimeter counts. Yet the operating room is supplied with interchangeable mass-produced goods whose quality no one guarantees. Three reasons why that ends up costing more than the low purchase price promises.
Origin
Unclear origin
Imported goods change from batch to batch. Without traceable manufacturing and documentation, every delivery becomes a lucky dip, and in an emergency nothing can be traced back.
Quality
Variation instead of consistency
When every instrument closes, grips and cuts slightly differently, in the end the surgeon's hand compensates for the weakness. Concentration that is needed for the patient goes into the tool.
Service
Sold, not supported
A catalog delivers and is then gone. It develops nothing with you, repairs nothing afterwards and makes no custom instrument to your drawing. You are left on your own.
This is how buying works when an instrument is treated as a consumable. Price decides, origin is secondary, and differences are not noticeable in the catalog. Only on the tissue does it show what a tenth too much play means.
Precision is not a price tag, but craftsmanship. It emerges where a machine alone can no longer go: in the fine grind, in the feel for perfect balance, in the final inspection under the microscope. These exact steps cannot be rationalized away, they can only be mastered.
From the first sketch to final inspection, every step follows the same promise: uncompromising quality. An excerpt from the path every instrument takes.

01
Design
Every instrument begins at the drawing board, developed together with surgeons.

02
CNC Machining
State-of-the-art CNC technology shapes the blank to the micrometer.

03
Laser Welding
Durable joints on filigree components, where experience guides the machine.

04
Hand Finishing
The fine grind and the balance are created in hands trained over years.

05
Microscope Inspection
Inspected, adjusted and released. Only then does an instrument leave the building.
We believe in a world where every surgeon holds the perfect instrument in their hand. Not just any tool, but one as precise as the operation it enables. We carry this responsibility not as a burden, but as a driving force.
Precision
We measure in micrometers, not millimeters. Every instrument is inspected, adjusted and released under the microscope. In microsurgery there is no room for “good enough”.
Responsibility
Behind every instrument stands a patient who is being operated on. We carry this responsibility not as a burden, but as a driving force. It makes us better, every day.
Innovation
We combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art CNC technology and laser welding. Not because it sounds modern, but because it enables better instruments.
Craftsmanship
Machines can do much, but not everything. The final inspection, the fine grind, the feel for perfect balance: only hands that have trained for years can do that.

Growing up in the Tuttlingen region, the world center of medical technology, Brian Fürderer came into contact with the manufacturing of surgical instruments early on. What began as a fascination with precision became a calling. After training as a surgical instrument maker and several years in the industry, he founded MICROQORE MEDICAL with a clear stance: to make instruments that know no compromise. Not the cheapest, but the best.
“Every instrument must be so good that I would use it in the OR myself.”
Brian Fürderer, Founder & Managing Director, MICROQORE MEDICAL

MICROQORE MEDICAL is not an anonymous corporation, but a genuine family business. Founded and led by Brian Fürderer, supported by his wife Jennifer and the entire family. Reliability, solidarity and long-term thinking shape our culture. We invest in people, not just machines, and our customers feel that in every instrument.
